In our Family Friendly Hand-building Workshops, there is always a new and exciting project to exercise your creativity! These workshops are for kids wanting to get their hands dirty as well as for their parents who want to join in on the fun if they'd like. school vacation
pottery program
Our School Vacation Pottery Program runs on all Massachusetts school vacations and through multiple weeks over the summer. They are super fun and messy!!! Throughout each day, the kids will make multiple pieces using the pottery wheel and by hand-building. We will also spend time glazing and decorating our work before they go in the kiln. birthday parties
Have your kiddo's birthday party at the Pottery Mill! Birthday parties can accommodate 6-8 guests who are at least 9 years old. Two hours of fun using our pottery wheels or hand-building and glazing their new creations!

Youth pottery classes
Perfect for ages 13+ years old looking for a creative outlet; learn to wheel throw, hand-build and glaze your creations!

​Our Wednesday Night PG-13 class is a teen-friendly class which covers basic wheel throwing for anyone 13+ years old! This class is perfect for beginners, intermediate or even advanced artists- come play with clay, we'll help you in any way we can. Classes are limited in space to maximize personal attention. Please note that this class is open for adults to signup as well.

The class includes everything you need to start making pottery: group instruction, a 25lb bag of clay, tools, glazes, storage, and firings. Classes are appropriate for beginners through advanced ceramists. All firing and finishing costs are included in price.

This is a 7 session course and will take place once a week every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Sign ups for this class follow the adult 7 week long schedule.​
